
An accomplished Egyptian-Italian film director, producer, and lecturer, he brings a wealth of experience in producing and directing high-profile documentaries and short films for leading networks in Europe and the Middle East.
He also has a successful track record in teaching documentaries, drama, and filmmaking at MIU; Misr International University, and BISC; The British International School, Cairo.
The short film he produced, “Il Passo” premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2017. His documentaries: "People of the Walls”, “Clandestini”, and "A Place of Clay" have garnered recognition in the international film festival circuit. His “that Alexandria” and “The Italians of Egypt” were acquired by universities worldwide and screened in Egypt, Italy, Scotland, Germany, and Austria.
He lives between Rome and Cairo where he was born and pursued his university degrees first in Architecture in 1990, then in Film Directing in 1994.
